Job Description

About the role:
As a Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the Manufacturing & Supply chain network in North America for Branded. Developing a comprehensive strategy to build a network supporting >$1 B$ sales across multiple channels as well as developing manufacturing capabilities for our Health & Beauty verticals. Your performance-oriented leadership style will drive a network which ultimately will be a competitive advantage for Branded.**

What you will do:

  • Define Branded Manufacturing strategy in the US for the following core verticals: Beauty, Personal Care & Nutrition
  • Define the overall end-to-end target network for Branded that optimize across channels (Amazon FBA vs. 3rd party fulfilment), will support the fast growth of the business and will deliver performance excellence: inventory costs, fulfilment costs, customer experience, fulfilment quality...
  • Drive manufacturing footprint & network build up together with our ecosystem of partners (existing or new) & ultimately be responsible for the performance of the network
  • Work with our Technology teams to build the technology that will empower our network, provide 100% real time visibility and enable highly configurable & flexible setup
  • Optimize US manufacturing footprint & performance
  • Develop data-driven methodologies to identify opportunities and optimize activities across our supply chain & logistics operations
  • Analyze market / industry trends and customer needs to ensure our network is best in class**

Preferred Experience

  • 15-20 years experience - demonstrated leadership in supply chain. Ideally within an e-commerce environment.
  • Experience with logistics / manufacturing contract negotiation including RFP development, evaluation, and contract execution including pricing (warehousing, light manufacturing, transportation)
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain systems and procedures
  • Experience working with Supply chain & Logistics systems
  • Strong leadership and ability to engage the different functions (Commercial, Procurement, Technology...) towards your vision and your goals
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment / high ambition environment
  • High level of organization, impeccable attention to detail, capacity to proactively solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to structure a strategy, come up with creative ideas, and think outside the box
