Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an IT business analyst (Finance) who has extensive experience in day to day functionalities of an enterprise ERP system, preferably NetSuite, on a corporate level, and preferably in the E-commerce domain. You will build efficient processes and procedures between acquired companies & brands being on-boarded, and the established corporate finance processes and system (NetSuite).This will include process mapping ‘As Is’ and working with various business stakeholders to define ‘To Be’ – establish standards with particular emphasis on the design of financial reports, data reports, and financial data management. You are expected to propose the data/BI solutions for identifying, correcting and consolidating data discrepancies. Analysis should highlight the benefits of changing processes and procedures (Change Management) which, once approved, will become standard of the corporate NetSuite configuration as well as corresponding business processes across the organization. You will collaborate with product teams as they build and deliver new products and features, and help them work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, packed with SaaS solutions.

Your goal will be to work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure that financial data integrity and accuracy is at the forefront of consideration across the enterprise, while working closely with Finance department for activities relating to the reporting, information reliability and consolidation of financial data and compliance with Finance/Tax authorities on a global level.

What you do

  • Develop and carry out data imports, exports and data cleanup to and from NetSuite.
  • Map and analyze current financial data handling processes and propose improvements and changes.
  • Analyze financial processes of acquired businesses during onboarding and propose best approach to bring them to corporate standards.
  • Develop and lead trainings of the NetSuite best practices.
  • Provide user support on key NetSuite functionalities as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Take a key role in Google data stack and its integration within Enterprise Tech.

Preferred Experience

Skills and competencies

  • Thorough knowledge of NetSuite (or similar ERP’s FI module) on a daily level.
  • Data/BI experience (analysis, consolidation, issue identification, discrepancy resolving and reporting).
  • User support experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Process and procedure mapping (SixSigma, LucidChart or similar).
  • Experience with Amazon platform (AWS) or Google Cloud (GCP) will be considered as an advantage.
  • Experience with Netsuite connectors like Celigo will be considered as a plus.
  • Accountancy certification will be considered as a plus.
  • IT or Accounting/Finance experience in an e-commerce company.
