Job Description

About the role:

BRANDED is looking for an experienced Global Treasurer to build our treasury function. You will report to our CFO and partner with our leadership teams across BRANDED’s global organization. You will be responsible for building the function, establishing relationships with the banks and improving the controls and processes on cash management. You will need to be hands-on, self-starting, and a detailed-oriented individual.

As a core leader of the finance team, you will be responsible for inspiring your team, peers, and leadership, and building an effective and engaged team while supporting their development.

Preferred Experience

What you will do:

  • Manage and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly flow of funds across multiple operating entities in locations ranging from the US, Europe, and Asia.
  • Establish and maintain a 13-week cash flow model that integrates in(out)flows for inventory purchasing, acquisitions, payroll, eCommerce receipts, credit facilities, etc.
  • Develop and expand upon commercial banking relationships with BRANDED’s financial institutions, credit card providers, and lenders.
  • Assess financial and operational risk to evaluate and construct mitigation strategies and hedging activities.
  • Own and provide technical expertise around treasury systems, bank integrations, system interfaces, and other treasury technology initiatives and automations
  • Build scalable workflows with cross-functional teams and implement global Treasury processes, policies, and procedures to enhance compliance under a controlled environment
  • Serve as Treasury’s M&A finance integration leader partnering with M&A team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Constructing and maintaining FX hedging strategies for disbursements in EUR, USD, GBP and structuring options, futures and other derivatives to reduce currency fluctuations on debt facilities.
  • Own and actively manage other treasury projects as needed

Who you are:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in finance and treasury function
  • BA/BS degree
  • Certified Cash Manager or Certified Treasury Professional is a plus
  • Public company experience in a large multi-national preferred
  • Knowledge of financing techniques and investment management
  • Experience with Treasury systems
  • Exceptional organization, continuous improvement approach, communication, collaboration, prioritization, project management, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to connect and collaborate effectively with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders; constructive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisive action on process improvement issues
  • Must be an analytical thinker, comfortable taking initiative in situations where thought leadership is either absent or unclear
  • Open-minded and culturally sensitive; well-structured and self-drive work approach; innovation-driven
